Online Safeguarding Training – Monday 28th September 18:00

Created by British Equestrian, this course will provide Group Safeguarding Officers (GSO) with wider knowledge of safeguarding, your role in the group and creating a safer culture.

Please note – GSOs attending this course need to have completed the new Safeguarding for Equestrians Tutor Lead course before attending this bolt on course.  

This course is delivered by British Equestrian approved trainers.

  • Support for case management and wider safeguarding environment

How is this session delivered?

  • Our virtual tutor-led training course takes place on Zoom.
  • We require you to have a device that has a camera and microphone.
  • It is recommended you sign up to Zoom and agree to the Zoom Privacy Notice in advance to the session.
  • Prior to the event, you can test your internet connection at https://zoom.us/test
  • You will receive the Zoom link via email, one week prior to the course.

This course is for all of UK. Spaces are limited and we ask that all who are booked on do attend as to not remove a possible space for other delegates. 

  • All attendees must be 18 years of age or above.
  • Places are limited, so they will need to be reserved in advance. Please be sure to let us know if you are not going to be able to attend by emailing safeguarding@rda.org.uk
  • There is no charge applicable for RDA volunteers and coaches.
  • All safeguarding officers, coaches and activity leaders must have a current safeguarding certificate.
